Obediah McFarling Survey, 28 acres in Stafford County, 25 April 1797, Virginia State Library & Archives, Northern Neck Surveys, Stafford County, 1798.
Surveyed for Obediah McFarling as waste land in Stafford County by Virtue of a Land office Treasury Warrant No. 1961 Agreeable to an Entry made by said McFarling. Beginning at A a whiteoak Stump corner to Andrew Jackson's 908 acres Survey near the falls of Rappahanock River and now corner. Thence, runing with Jackson's line now Humes N61 W 117 poles to Brown the great road, In Waugh's line Thence returns to A the Begining and runs with another of Jackson's lines now Humes S 31 W 19 poles to C the main road. Thence down the sd road S 52 E 20 poles to B. Hence N 6 E (going near a large rock) 22 poles to Carter's corner latterly formerly Imids at present Hunters. Thence the same course continued with Hunter's line 74 poles E in Waugh's line. Thence with Waughs S 84.90 W 119 poles to B Hume's corner in Waugh's Line Containing 28 acres of Land.

October 24th 1796 In examining the above plot & Survey I find it made agreeable to an Entry made by Obdiah Mcfarling by Virtue of a land offer Treasury Warrant No 1961 for 100 ?????
