At a Court held for Augusta County, October the 25th 1802 This last will and Testament of John Finley deceased was proved by the oath of William Finley a subscribing witness thereto and it being further proved by the oaths of Robert Finley and Samuel Finley Gent? that the said will was written altogether in the hand writing of the testator which is ordered to be recorded and on the motion of John Caldwell and Samuel S Finley the Executors therein named who made oath according to law, together with Robert Finley William Davis Thomas Marshall and Andrew Fulton their securities entered into and acknowledged their bond in the penalty of $15,000 conditioned as the law directs certificate is granted them for obtaining a probat thereof in due form according to law.
