of Shanando Beginning at a white oak corner to his own land & thence N 57 E 266

poles with his line to a walnut & Hiccory in a draft corner to Wm Anderson Land &

with his line S 32 E 88 poles to a black & white oak & S 57 W 140 poles to one

Hiccory Sapline N 72 W 38 poles to two white oaks & a Black oak S 6? W 30 poles

to a walnut & Hiccory Sapline by a Branch N88 W 90 poles to the Beginning this

Surveyed for John Finley 238 acres of Land in Augusta County on a Branch of the

Middle River of Shanando joining the Land he lives on BEGINNING at a white oak by

a Draft a Corner of his other Land & N 30 W 130 poles to a white Oak and black

Oak on a Ridge Thence N 52 W 48 pol have hereunto set their hands and seals on

the Day and year above written

At a District Court holden at Staunton September 1793 this Deed of trust David

Finley and Elizabeth his wife to John Sheilds was acknowledged in Court She
