Cheatham Corely to Sally Finley for her six children,

Allen, Polly, James Berry, John and Jeremiah, infants;

100 acres on Bratcher's Road,

THIS INDENTURE made this 18th day of September in the year of our Lord one

Thousand Eight hundred and Seven between Cheatham Corley and Delilah his wife of

the County of Bedford & State of Virginia of the one part and Salley Finley for

the benefit of her six Children namely Allen, Polly, James, Berry, John &

Jeremiah infants and under the age of Twenty One of the County & State aforesaid

of the other part Witnesseth that the said Cheatham Corley and Delilah his Wife

for and in Consideration of the Sum of Sixty pounds Virginia Currency to them in

hand paid by the said Sally Finley for the benefit of her six Children aforesaid

the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged by the said Cheatham Corley & Delilah

his Wife who hath bargained & sold and by these presents do bargain sell deliver

and confirm unto the said Sally Finley for the benefit of her aforesaid six

Children all that Tract or parcel of Land situate lying & being in the aforesaid

County of Bedford on Bratchers Road which was devised to him by the last Will &

Testament of his Father Caniel Corley Deceased containing One hundred Acres

including the Plantation whereon he now lives, To have and to hold the aforesaid

Tract or parcel of Land together with the appurtenances there unto belonging unto

her the Sally Finley for the benefit of her aforesaid six Children Allen, Polly,

James, Berry, John and Jeremiah their Heirs & assigns forever, and the said

Cheatham Corley and Delilah his Wife for themselves their Heirs Executors Admrs.

and assigns the said Tract or parcel of Land unto the said Sally Finley for the

benefit of her aforesaid six Children their Heirs Excrs Admrs and assigns will

forever warrant and defend against the Claims of all persons whatsoever. In

Witness whereof the said Cheatham Corley & Delilah his wife hath hereunto set

their hands and affixed their Seals the day and year above written -

At a Court held for Bedford County at the Courthouse the 25 day of July 1808.

This Indenture of Bargain & Sale between Cheatham Corley and Delilah his Wife of

the one part & Salley Finley and her six Children of the Other was proved by the

oath of John Pate, Matthew Pate & William Pate three subscribing witnesses and

ordered to be Recorded
