Survey for Thomas Finley 140 acres of land by virtue of an entry on a certificate from the Commissioner for Washington & Montgomery County for 140 acres & dated the 12th of Sept 1782 lying in Montgomery County on the Sally run a branch of Reed Creek the waters of New River. Beginning at a Hiccory & black oak Grubbs corner to John Finleys Patent Land & runneth thence

 

N 17 degrees east 72 poles to 3 white oaks in a hollow

S 69 W 161 to 2 white oaks on a ridge

S 20 E 61 to a red oak

S 43 E 133 to a white oak & red oak

N 58 E 129 to a red oak corner to John Finley's decd patent land

N50 W 125 poles with a line to the Beginning
