Survey 20 for James Finley 93 acres of land by virtue of an entry on part of a treasury warrant of 500 acres No. 13275 & dated the 3rd of August 1782 assignd to him by Walter Crockett Attorney for James Clerk, lying in Montgomery County on the south side of Reed Creek joining his patent land and the land of William Phips Beginning at two white oaks, the old corner thence

 

N100 to two hicories on the creek and down the creek

E50 to six Limms(?) on the creek bank corner to Wm Phips land

S10 W56 to three white oaks corner to Phips land

S51 E40 to three white oaks on a hill

S72 E66 to a spanish oak and white oaks

S24 E 80 to a large white oak on a steep hill side

S79 W60 to two white oak saplins

N25 W38 to two white oaks

W(?) 76 to a white oak on the creek

N30 W30 down the creek to a walnut tree

N12 E24 poles to the Beginning
