28 April 1769, George Finley buys 200 acres on Vaughn's Creek, Prince Edward Co., VA from father-in-law Thomas Fulton, 2:487.

 

20 December 1773, George Finley sells 200 acres on Vaughn's Creek, Prince Edward Co., VA to Alexander Garden, 5:184.

 

Note: George's father, John, and brother, William buy on Vaughn's Creek in 1765 and sell in 1773.

 

November 1773, John Finley buys 327 acres on Sally Run, branch of Reed Creek, a branch of New River, Fincastle Co., VA, from John McFarland, 1:142.

 

Note: Montgomery Co., was formed from Fincastle in 1776-77; Wythe Co. formed from Montgomery in 1789.
