Know all men by these presents that we George Finley & Samuel Finley are held and firmly bound unto his Esq the Governor in the form of fifty pounds to which ??? will & truly to be made to the said Governor or his Successors in kind our selves our heirs Exors & admors firmly by these presents sealed & dated this 30th day of Septr 1795.

The Condition of the above obligation is such that whereas there is a marriage shortly intended to be had & solemnized between the above bound George Finley & Nancy Hagens both of Madison County if therefore these bonds lawfull cause to obstruct the ??? then this obligation to be void otherwise to remain in full force & virtue.
