Surveyed for David Finley by virtue of preemption warrant a Tract of 1000 acres of Land in Lincoln County on the East Side of Dicks river adjoining Samuel Scotts land on the South William Davis's on the East & Asel Davis on the north Beginning in Said Scotts line at the Corner of Wm Davis's land at A 2 Sugertrees Running from thence S20E with Wm Davis's line 240 poles to a white oak & Sugertree thence East 486 poles with Asel Davis's line & cornering with him to two small Hickorys & Elm thence S59 poles with sd Davies's line & cornering the same to a Sugertree thence East 195 poles to a Spanish Oak thence north 205 poles to the Said Scotts line to a Beech Dogwood & ash thence with his line S87W 195 poles & cornering with Said Scott to a Sugertree thence N3W 120 poles to a Red Oak thence S87W with said Scotts line 580 poles to A the Beginning.
