This day personally appeared before me James R. Copeland an ruling(?) Justice of the peace in and for said County Catharine Swallow and made Oath in due form of law, that her maiden name was Catharine Kinder, and that she is the Catharine Kinder mentioned in the last will and testament of Thomas Finley and that Reuben Finley of the County and State aforesaid is her son and the same identical Reuben Finley mentioned in said will of Thomas Finley late of the district of Abbeville and State of South Carolina as the son of Catharine Kinder and that the said Reuben Finley now lives in the said County of Overton and State of Tennessee and the said Reuben Finley has lived in said County and State for last Eighteen or Nineteen years past. Sworn to and subscribed before me this 17th day January 1837.
