20 September 1772 - John Finley late of South Carolina claims inheritance due his daughters, Esther, wife of William Patterson, and Margaret Finley, due them from their mother's inheritance. Their mother was Elizabeth (Harris) Finley, daughter of John Harris of Paxton Township, Lancaster County, now both deceased. Property located on west side of Susquehanna River, bounded on south by Canadagwine? Creek. Harris' daughter Elizabeth was entitled to one seventh share of his land. 28 July 1794 - Alexander McNickle of Newton Township, Cumberland County to Samuel Finley, Alexander Brown, and Daniel Brown of Newton Township, 60, 91 acres 29 perches. Neighbors: Thomas Murray.
