January 1762, Paul Finley born in Craven County; first enlisted 15 August 1776; married Mary Martin 20 September 1782; died 12 July 1843 in Laurens District, SC; had brother John Finley living in Abbeville in 1832. Revolutionary War Records #W9440.

1767/1768, John Findley arrived in Charles Town on Ship Chichester.
