The State of South Carolina York District

Know all men by these presents that I Hugh Davidson of York District in the State aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of four Hundred Dollars to me paid by John Finley of York District in the State aforesaid have granted, bargained sold & released and by these presents do grant bargain sell and release unto the said John Finley all that Tract of Land whereon the said Hugh Davidson Formerly lived being part of a Tract originally granted to John Davidson Senr containing seven Hundred and ninety one Acres in the year 1753, it being a division of one Hundred Acres of the above described land Bounded SE by John Davidson Jr. Land NE by Elijah Fleming No Henry Tipping N?? by John Davidson Senr Together with all & singular the rights, members, Hereditaments and appurtenances to the said premises belonging or in any wise incident, or appertaining. To have & to Hold all and Singular the premises before mentioned unto the said John Finley his Heirs and assigns forever. And I do hereby bind myself my Heirs executors & administrators to Warrant and forever defend all and Singular the said premises unto the said John Finley his Heirs and assigns. against myself & my Heirs and assigns and every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof. - Witness my hand & Seal this ninth day of February, in the year of our Lord 1807 and in the 31 year of the Independence of the United States of America

sign seal & deliver the within Deed & deliver the same to John Finley Jr. for the ??? & purposes therein mentioned and that Walter Carron and William Davidson were Subscribing Witness with himself to the Same

York District to the said Hugh Davidson containing one Hundred Acres being

part of a Tract Originally granted to John Davidson Bounded NE by Elijah Fleming Land N by Tipping NW by John Davidons Senr. land SE by John Davidson Jr. land and hath such form & marks as the above plate represents, resurveyed the 4th day of February 1807. Land drawn(?) by a Peak of 20 Chains to an Inch by John Brown
