The State of South Carolina. York District.
Know all men by these presents that I John Findley of the State & District aforesaid for and in
consideration of the Sum of four Hundred dollars to me paid by Hugh Davison of the state of
Georgia have granted bargained sold & released & by these presents do Grant & bargain sell &
release unto the said Hugh Davison all that tract or parcel of Land being the plantation whereon
the said Hugh Davison lately resided in the State of South Carolina & District aforesaid which is
part of a Tract of Land granted to John Davison Senior in the year of our Lord one Thousand
seven hundred and fifty three bounded SE by John Davison Juniors land bounded SE by Elija
Flemmings land N by Henry Tippings land & NW by John Davisons Senr land, & containing by
estimation one Hundred acres be the same more or less Together with all & Sigular the rights
Members Hereditaments & appurtenances to the said Tract or parcel of Land belonging or in any
wise appertaining to have & to hold all & Singular the premises above mentioned unto the said
Hugh Davison his Heirs Executors administrators & assigns forever and I do hereby bind myself
my Heirs Executors administrators & assigns forever to warrant & defend to the said Hugh
Davison his Heirs Executors & assigns forever to Warrant & defend the titles to the sd Tract or
parcel of Land to be as full & perfect as it was where the said Hugh Davison formerly conveyed
the same to me by deed bearing date the Ninth day of February one Thousand eight Hundred &
Seven that is to say I Warrant the same against all persons whosoever Claiming or to Claim under
me - Given under my Hand & seal this twenty fourth day of May one thousand eight hundred &
fourteen & in the thirty eighth year of the sovernty and Independence of the United States of
America

South Carolina Personally came Robert Davison before me the
York District subscribing Justice & being duly sworn made oath that
he saw the within named John Findley sign seal the within deed of Conveyance and deliver the
same to within named Hugh Davison for the uses & purposes there in mentioned, and that Hugh
Black Davison was present and subscribed his name thereto as & Concerning Witness Sworn to &
subscribed before me this 24th May 1814.
