Surveyed for Jesse Finley 320 acres of Land Situated on the Lake fork Creek of

Sabine River in Mercers Colony in the State of Texas Hunt County Fannin District

by Virtue of a Certificate No. 854 Issued by O.M. Crockett the Commissioner of

Charles Fenton Mercers Colony to the said Jesse Finley for 640 acres of Land at

the town of Greenville Hunt County Texas on the 7th day of May A.D. 1850 to wit:

Beginning on the South boundary line of a 160 acre Survey made in the name of

Edmond Finley 83 1/10 varas West of the S.E. corner thereof a post in prairie

from which a Blackjack 6 inches in diameter bears N62 30E. 4 2/10 varas Marked

J.F. a Blackjack 6 inches in diameter bears N 7 E 3 acres Marked X Thence South

605 varas to timber 924 varas Intersecting the North boundary line of a League

and Labor Survey made in the name of Harvy Jacobs a post from which a Post Oak 8

inches in diameter bears North 8 W 4 4/10 varas mkd X Thence West with Jacobs

line 258 varas to Lake fork 12 varas with course S.E. 825 vars to prairie 1955

1/10 vars Set a post in Mound Thence in the name of Robert W. Smith assignee of

Obediah S. Downing a post and Mound Thence East with Downings line 1955 7/10

varas crossing Lake fork to the Begining

A.D. 1850 and that the lines bounds and corners natural and artificial are truly

examined the foregoing plat and filed notes and find them correct and the Survey
