7 November 1796 - John McMullin & Agness his wife to James Finley, 50 pounds, 100 acres, described more fully in patent granted by George Humphrey to McMullin on 3 December 1792, ... along Robert Humphreys line. Witnesses: James Caldwell, John Woodburn, John Waits. Agness signs with her mark. Acknowledged at May Term 1797. DB 4:43.

6 February 1798 - William Shepheard to Samuel Finley, 20 pounds, 160 acres. Witnesses: Lewis Levrey, John Aldridge, William Ragan. Acknowledged February Term 1798. DB 4:126.

8 April 1828 - Samuel Finley and Elizabeth his wife of Ohio County to William Mounts of Brook County, VA, $750, 125 acres on Cattleman's Run ... adjoining land with Cox, Isaac Snedeker? and others, sold by Henry Smith to Campbell Lefever who willed it to his son, Isaac, who sold it to Samuel Finley.
