5 April 1803, Isaac Taylor and Meary, his wife of Ohio County, VA to William Downing Seigr of Ohio County, $3600, waters of Glendruin(?), neighbor McColloch(?), 326 acres part of a tract of 400 acres granted by Robert Brooke, Esq. Governor of VA to James Hall by patent dated 5 June 1795. Ohio County Book 5:233. 

 

28 March 1810, William Downing to William Chaplin, Jr., Abraham McCulloch, HermanQuackhouse(?), $1200 drawn on Bank at Washington, PA, $1700 until the expiration of three months, 326 acres, witnesses: William Downing Jr., David Downing, Oliver Crawford, (very difficult to read). Ohio County Book 6:534.
