James Findley appointed guardian for Samuel Findley, 11 August 1845,

Know all men by these presents that we James Findley as principal and David

Findley as security are held and firmly bound unto the State of Missouri in the

sum of Five Hundred dollars for the payment of which will and truly to be made we

bind ourselves our heirs, Executors and Administrators firmly by these presents,

signed, Sealed and dated this 11th day of August A.D. 1845.

Conditioned that if the said Findley who has this day been chosen by Samuel

Findley and appointed by the County Court of Van Buren County Guardian of the

person and Estate of said Samuel (who is a minor) if he shall faithfully

discharge all the duties of Guardian to said minor according to law or the order

of any Court having jurisdiction thereof, then this obligation shall be void,

else remain in full force.
