Thomas Head and wife Emma, Henry Davis and wife Mary, Mort. J. Davis, of Logan County, Kentucky & W. Head, of McCrackin County, Kentucky to John Head, 100 acres, 8 January 1879, Logan County, Kentucky, DB 56:569.

This Deed, made the 8th day of January 1879 between Thomas Head & his wife Emma Head, Henry Davis and his wife Mary Davis, Mort. J. Davis and W. Head all of the above parties of Logan County Ky except Wm Head who lives in McCrackin Co Ky and being all the heirs at law of Tavner Head deceased who have not hereto fore sold their interest in said decedents landed estate parties of the first part and John Head a party of the second part. Witnesseth that said first party in consideration of One dollar to them in hand paid and in consideration of the relinquishment and conveyance by said party of the second part, of his interest in other lands belonging to said deceased which can be seen by reference to deeds of record in the Logan County Clerks Office, have bargained and sold and hereby convey unto said second party the following described land lying in Logan County Ky about 3 miles West of Russellville and bounded as follows Beginning at a rock standing on the North side of the Highland Lick road and corner to Brown thence S9E103 po to a small hickory corner to G.D. Blakey thence N84 1/2I150 po to a post oaks, now a rock corner to same, thence N25E83 po to the middle of said road, thence with the same N87W200 poles to the Beginning, containing One hundred acres more or less. To have and to hold said property unto said second party his heirs and assigns forever "with covenant of General Warranty" releasing all rights of Homestead and Dower Witness the hands of the Grantors date above
