Dear Sister
I will write again as we have not heard from you in 2 or 3 months I feel anxious to hear I don't
know anything to write we are all well my babys have had the whooping cough this spring are
about over it Wells was here yesterday said Linnie was not well Mary has been complaining for a
week. well we have had the coldest dry spring here I ever seen. corn is late and little oats nearly a
failure gardens poor we had frost the last of May and first June. Bob has a big crop planted all
over it ..?.. 3 times we had uncle Hanse to stay allnight with us 2 weeks ago he is geting feable
though he can say by? grab? yet.
Bill DECK? has had a bad sick spell this spring he is able to walk about don't think he will ever be
able to work any more. I seen Ellen at aunt Polly Anns about 2 months ago she was the worst
distraut? looking human I ever seen. uncle Will is gone to Tex again. Dave WALKER has sold
his farm to Albert BOWMAN has bought land in Tex and is going to move in Oct. Cal
BOSWELL owns and lives on the old CARR farm, the children are all gon to sunday school.
Mary Lou Phylis learnt her lesson and ..?.. off as big as watch with a new dress that aunt Mary
give her, you must excuse Mary for not writing she has something to do now lots of britches to
patch and shirts tomake. please write soon
