Eigene Anmerkungen: ( a few footnotes or personal observations of the transcriber)
.The entry (or registration of ) the stricken passages are not picked up. At the sponsor of 7th April 1664 where Pastor Candidus struck through the family name "Ihl" and has written "Diel," it is however unobjectionable (or irreproachable) that Hans Conrad Ihl appears on the same page also under 24 July as the father-in-law of the butcher, Simon Hess. Hans Conrad Ihl is also identical with the tradesman (Kraemer= tradesman) Conrad Ihl who on 14 Decemvber 1651 served as godfather for Abraham Bapst (son, Hanns Conrad Bapst.)
"Corduanbereiter" = Lederbereiter (leather dresser)
The family name of the second godmother of 30 Sept. 1655 and 19 July 1659 is not exact enough to decifer (make out).

(Roland's notes: Wool weaver, as well as the leather professions (Rotgerber/Corduanbereiter) belong to the more wealthy professions at that time. The linen weavers were the more poor ones. But your ancestors belonged to the more prosperous part, quoting Mr. Langguth.
